Oh what you do to my floor! It's that time of year again when many people will be dragging home their beloved evergreen to fill the house with joy.  And if it's real...it will need WATER!  We like all of our flooring options for many different reasons, however, there are times when tile will win out over the rest.  If you have kids and/or pets you know what kind of a beating floors can take. Hardwoods can get scratched, water stained and some things like paint, chemicals, and pet messes do not clean up so well. Carpets tend to collect more dust and dirt, can easily get stained and may not hold up to the test of time, especially in high traffic areas.   And...well, Christmas can do a number on both..think water and needles. Tile, if installed correctly, will outlast it’s style and here are some of the reasons you may want to choose tile.
